Dear Guests,
The Bethel Inn Resort and staff are committed to reducing our
impact on the environment.
Our policy is to seek environmental quality
improvements throughout our resort operation.
We hope that you will join us in considering the impact
we have on our planet and our children’s future.
Recently, we have renovated the Inn’s
heat and hot water system by replacing an antiquated single
zone boiler system with a multi zone high efficiency system.
We have also replaced 75% of the Resort’s
incandescent bulbs with high efficiency fluorescent lighting.
In addition we have eliminated a number of toxic
cleaning chemicals from our Laundry, Housekeeping and
Maintenance departments and replaced them with non-toxic,
biodegradable alternatives.
Guests repeatedly support our efforts by
recycling and reusing printed marketing materials, also by
deciding to reuse bed linens and bath towels and by turning
off excess lighting and air conditioners when vacating their
rooms.
While we will continue to provide all the
amenities and services our guests expect, we also accept our
responsibility to environmental stewardship and creating a
clean future for all.
